What is Adventure Rated?
When you see the Adventure Rated seal, it means that product has been field-tested for durability and meets or exceeds our expected performance. Not all of our products are tested for outdoor use. Testing is different for each type of product, so we have outlined what makes our products Adventure Rated below.
Apparel (Excludes Headwear)
- Field Tested in Varying Temperatures, Conditions & Activities
- Quick Drying and Wicks Moisture (to learn why we take moisture wicking testing so seriously, read about Joe and his heat allergy).
- UV Ray Sun Protection – Must have a minimum UPF rating of 35+.
- Fade Resistant – No matter how many times you wash it, as long as you follow the proper care instructions, it will still look new!
- Odor Resistant – The fibers in the fabric must aid in odor protection. (Only applies to types of apparel that is worn around odor areas)
Headwear
- Field Tested in Varying Temperatures, Conditions & Activities
- Quick Drying and Wicks Moisture (to learn why we take moisture wicking testing so seriously, read about Joe and his heat allergy).
- Performance Sweatband – Must help with moisture control.
- Advanced Breathability (UV Ray Sun Protection may be offered depending on the fabric with a minimum rating of UPF 35+).
